Espresso

Espresso (a small strong shot of coffee) was invented in 1901 by an Italian called Luigi Bezzer; he wanted a fast way for employees to make coffee, thus reducing the length of their coffee breaks! Espresso is simply the Italian word for fast and the first espresso machine was patented in 1905.
